Ways to Enjoy a Relaxing Bath

We all know that baths are relaxing. This is something many people can agree on. Also, there are a lot of studies that confirm that baths have stress-relieving properties. Individuals who take baths regularly appear to be less depressed and have lower stress levels compared to individuals who simply shower.

Also, regularly submerging yourself in water might help make you less angry.

There are a lot of benefits for your mind and body if you take a relaxing bath. However, you can only achieve these benefits if you know what you’re doing.

Today, we’re going to share with you some tips on how to enjoy the best bubble bath.

Consider Adding an International Bath Blend

If you’ve got aching muscles, consider adding Epsom salts in the water to help ease them. You can also try to add essential oil. These oils help kick off the detoxification process in your lymphatic system. Some of the essential oils that you can try include helichrysum, grapefruit, lemongrass, cypress, and much more.

However, make sure you dilute your essential oil first to avoid irritating your skin. Experts also recommend combining 5 drops of essential oil with 1 oz. of coconut oil before you add it to your bathwater.

Choose the Right Temperature

Before you draw your relaxing bath, close the bathroom door. Also, make the water hot. Experts recommend using water with at least 100-102 °F since this is the ideal temperature for Jacuzzis.

According to research, sweating can help regulate the microbiome of your skin. This also helps in preventing bacteria from entering the pores of your body.

Time it Properly

A lot of experts recommend that you take a relaxing bath before going to bed. While you’re sleeping, your body does intense regeneration.

A relaxing bath fuels the process by increasing your body temperature, boosting circulation, and loosening up your muscles. These things can help in body regeneration.

Furthermore, warm water can help you have a good night’s sleep once you’re done taking a bath.

Consider Your Time in the Tub

Once you are done preparing for your relaxing bath, all you need to do is to climb in and relax as you submerge yourself into warm water.

Usually, people recommend that you sit inside your bathtub for at least 15 to 30 minutes. This is the ideal length of time to relax your mind and your muscles.

Of course, you can always stay longer if you want since nothing is stopping you. However, you should always remember that it might dry out your skin if you stay for a long period.

Furthermore, don’t cleanse your face in the bath if you want to achieve effective cleansing and clear skin. This is particularly true if you added Epsom salt or essential oil into the water.

When taking a bath, all you need to know is to relax and lie back. You don’t need to do anything. Taking a bath is also the ideal time to meditate. This will help you relax further and enjoy your bubble bath.
